Alexis Gouten, entrepreneur | Wobee Sarl – Manufacture Royale SA – Monarchy London
Born in Neuilly-sur-Seine in 1975, Alexis Gouten arrived in Switzerland in 1986 at the age of 11 and attended school there.
In parallel with his university studies in economics and journalism, he joined the family company GOUTEN DISTRIBUTION SA, from its creation in 1995, and made his first steps by distributing a famous jewellery brand from Place Vendôme.
In 2001, he launched MACHER SA and in 2007 took over the operational management of both companies.
Specialized in the introduction and development of luxury brands in Switzerland, he introduced around twenty brands on this market, including Frederique Constant, Raymond Weil, Roger Dubuis, Harry Winston, Greubel Forsey, Lancel, etc….
In 2013, in association with his cousins, he bought the luxury watch brand Manufacture Royale.
In 2016, MACHER SA, which became the world’s second largest customer of the Frederique Constant group, was sold to the eponymous group.
Since then, the entrepreneurial fever no longer leaves him and he lauched WOBEE , active in workers benefits and MONARCHY LONDON , a luxury leather goods brand
